A customer in the North Sea gave us following challenges / problems for us to solve… we want to install valve actuators without pressure relief valves (PRV) in the controls.

Solution:

We Selected Camtorc Actuators! The Camtorc series have a unique twin piston design. This means that, when sizing an actuator against a minimum and maximum operating pressure, Camtorc actuators do not produce the large differences in torque seen by other actuator option. Result? A Camtorc Actuator can frequently be installed without a PRV and still never exceed the valve’s MAST value, thus safely allowing the removal of another maintainable component from your system.
